Staying in beautiful residential accommodation is a completely different experience to staying in a hotel or a bed and breakfast. For the duration of your stay with us, your accommodation is your own private tropical residence with all the comforts and privacy of home plus some!

Our stay at Pintu merah has been amazing, feels more homy than a hotel and a

lot more stylish for a reasonable price. Moya has been very accomodating and

helpful with all our needy little request. Thank you for the champagne and

the flowers, ho and I fell in love with that Nespresso machine, I have to

buy one now :) That pool is also very private and refreshing. If i come back

to Darwin I for sure would come back to one of your villa. All the best!!

Great Holiday ! We had a wonderful time and would stay again at the Pintu Merah in a shot. I think what stood out for me was the personal nature of the booking and the kindness of making up the extra bed, responding to questions about the internet, Lawrence coming to help with the DVD. The goodies in the fridge were great and I will adopt the same for a place that I have in Sydney . I think hotel/motel rooms are impersonal and prefer your funky style. It felt like a cool cocoon for catching up with family. Your suggestion of restaurant was appreciated. It is sensational The air con saved my sanity. We needed to catch up and found your place perfectly positioned for accessing everything. It also felt secure. Thanks. Jenny.. October 08

"Thank you for organising this. Was fantastic! Pam wouldn't have the Marilyn room - she gave it to us! And was very happy with Audrey. Nat had a spa when we could fit it in. We were very busy. Ate too much market food.The mattress in the Marilyn room - King size bed was like a cloud. Do you know what brand it is? Should have checked, but didn't think of it at the time. We visited Darwin for work and pleasure and found Moonshadow to be a fabulous place to be based for both. The photo's and description on the website is simply understated. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a great place to stay give Peter and Moya a call. It is well worth it......We have already booked for next year. Tom.

We were really excited about our accommodation at Moonshadow and were certainly not disappointed. We love to stay in "different" accommodation and Moonshadow was first class in all aspects. The atmosphere was relaxed and it was obvious that Peter and Moya wanted us to enjoy our time at Moonshadow. Whilst the pool and surrounds were fantastic, what impressed me most were all the personal touches within our villa and the attention to detail. I think that they knew exactly how to set up the villa so that it was just as they would like it leaving it impossible to fault any aspect of the accommodation. We would highly recommend Moonshadow to anyone and everyone, especially if staying somewhere really special is an important aspect of your holiday experience.
